As a woman travelling in her 20s (often alone), I began shooting candid shots of other women. Women who stood out to me. Who were, much like myself, navigating this world by foot, by car, by plane, by train. Navigating the actual spaces we shared and navigating the changes/learnings/transformations that inevitably occur during womanhood. Alone, with friends, with family, with their children, their partners… all of it. Moments of laughter, moments of solitude. Peace, independence, dependence, space, place, shifts, stagnancy… all of it. All shots are taken with my film camera. None are set up. All are moments we can’t get back. All are moments propelling us forward.
